The first sign that Saygid Izagakhmaev has moved on from the UFC is a web page. His athlete profile now sits on the PFL site, but the promotion has announced nothing: no signing, no debut opponent, no date, no contract length and no financial terms. The page was flagged by The Matchmaker account on Oct. 28, and MiddleEasy reviewed the listing itself.
The listing puts him at 170 pounds with a 22-4 record and names Makhachkala as his hometown and fighting base. PFL's own card announcement identifies 170 pounds as welterweight, so this does not point to a 155-pound move.
The UFC chapter was short and winless. He lost a split decision to Nicolas Dalby on Nov. 22, 2025, then a unanimous decision to Abubakar Vagaev on July 25, 2026. Roster-watch reports in September counted him among fighters no longer on the UFC's active list, and RIA Dagestan reported his departure on Sept. 17. His old UFC athlete page still carries an active-status label, but that is not evidence of a new booking.
His earlier résumé is the stronger selling point. He went unbeaten in three ONE Championship fights, including a first-round TKO of Shinya Aoki at ONE 163 after 1:26. He is a sambo-based fighter from Dagestan who began training as a child with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.
Timing matters. PFL's Nov. 14 Dubai card at Coca-Cola Arena has 15 fights, and Izagakhmaev is on none of them, so a debut looks likely to come later. Pos-Luta adds that PFL is preparing for a merger with MVP, the promotion linked to Jake Paul, expected early next year. Watch for a PFL announcement confirming the signing and a first opponent at 170 pounds.
