These terms are an agreement between you and MMA-TV ("MMA-TV", "we", "us") about using mma-tv.net and its features (together, the "site"). By using the site you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Anyone can read MMA-TV. To make an account you must be at least 13 (or older if your country's law requires it), and if you're under the age of adulthood where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission. Give us accurate account details, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
MMA-TV is an independent news and fan site. Our newsroom reads MMA and boxing coverage from many outlets, official sources and public social media posts, then writes a short summary of each story in its own words, keeps a timeline of how the story develops, and links to the reporting it's based on.
MMA-TV is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the UFC, PFL, ONE Championship, any other promotion or athletic commission, any fighter, or any outlet we cite. Their names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and appear only to identify them.
Story summaries, timelines, fact lists, fight cards and live results, fan poll questions, search answers and Cap or not verdicts are written or assembled with AI (we use Anthropic's Claude), working from the sources linked on each story. Stories are labeled "Summarized with AI".
We work hard at accuracy: claims are marked as confirmed, reported or disputed; live results are checked against more than one outlet; and readers can flag mistakes on every story. When we get something wrong, we fix it and show the correction on the story. But summaries can still contain errors, leave things out, or fall behind fast-moving news, and so can the sources themselves. The original reporting, and official announcements from promotions and commissions, are what count. Don't rely on MMA-TV alone for anything important.
Reporting is hard work, and we respect it. How we use other people's work:
Publishers, photographers and authors: if you don't want your work summarized, quoted, pictured or linked on MMA-TV, or think we've credited you wrongly, email [email protected]. We'll fix it or remove it quickly, normally within a few days. You can also use the copyright process in section 9.
You keep ownership of what you post: comments, forum posts, picks, reader notes, poll votes and the rest ("your content"). By posting it, you give MMA-TV a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, format and distribute it on the site and in MMA-TV's own feeds and notifications, and to keep it available after your account is gone where others have quoted or replied to it. This license is just what we need to run the site; we don't sell your content.
You're responsible for your content. Only post what you have the right to share, and don't post anything that breaks these terms or the law. Reader notes and corrections you send us may be used to fix stories.
Talk fights, argue hard, be a fan. Just don't:
We respect copyright and respond to notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws. To report material on MMA-TV you believe infringes your copyright, email our copyright agent at [email protected] with:
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice with your signature, the removed material and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address and phone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts for your address (or, outside the US, any district where MMA-TV may be found). We may restore the material unless the complainant tells us they've filed a court action.
We remove material that's the subject of valid notices and close the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Knowingly false notices can make you liable for damages.
We may review, edit for formatting, hide or remove content, and limit, suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the site or others at risk, with or without notice. We aren't obliged to monitor everything posted, and we don't endorse what members post. You can stop using MMA-TV at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the privacy policy). Sections 5, 6, 9 and 11 to 15 keep applying after an account ends.
MMA-TV links to and shows content from other sites and services (news outlets, X, YouTube, GIPHY and others). We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability or practices; their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the site or its content is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Fight results, schedules, records and news can change after we publish them. Nothing on MMA-TV is legal, medical, financial or betting advice.
To the extent the law allows, MMA-TV and the people who run it won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or its content, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you; nothing here limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.
If you use the site in a way that breaks these terms or the law and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.
If you have a problem with MMA-TV, please contact us first; most things can be fixed quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the US state where MMA-TV's operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes go to the courts there, except that either of us may bring a claim in small claims court. If you're a consumer in the EEA, the UK or another country whose law gives you the right to bring claims at home or to protections that can't be waived, those rights still apply.
We may update these terms as the site changes. We'll change the date at the top, and if a change matters, we'll say so on the site; members will be asked to accept updated terms when they next sign in. If you keep using MMA-TV after a change, the new terms apply. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't given up the right to.
