RESULTS Ring Championship Challenge League 06: Yu submits Lee; Kim Kwang-hyun wins by TKO

The seven-fight card at Ring Championship Challenge League 06 produced two results that are clearly documented, and one of them came with a penalty attached.

Kim Kwang-hyun of Team Taihon weighed 70.9 kg for his lightweight bout, 400 grams over the limit. His opponent, Yang Yun-sik of Team Counter, made weight at 69.15 kg. The penalty for the miss was a one-point deduction in every round and a 30% cut of Kim's purse. Even with that handicap, Kim won by TKO, with a punch-and-ground-strikes finish according to Rank5's photo coverage.

In the semi-flyweight bout, Yu Min-gyu of JK Gym beat Lee Jun-min of MMA Story Changdong by rear-naked choke at 2:46 of the first round. Yu had made weight the day before, along with every other fighter on the card.

The rest of the card was built around Korean gym matchups. Kim Jong-pil faced Park Geon-woo and Park Gwang-jun faced Kim Jin-gon, both at contract weight. Kim Min-seong met Gu Gyo-hyeon at lightweight, Song Jae-wook met Seol Yong-ju and Kim Ik-cheon met Ga Han-bin, both at bantamweight. Photo captions point to Kim Jong-pil, Gu Gyo-hyeon and Song Jae-wook as the winners of their bouts, but the coverage does not give methods, rounds or times for them. Results for the other bouts have not been published.
