Netflix will reportedly move ahead with a documentary about UFC chief Dana White, according to Page Six Hollywood. The outlet says Gotham Chopra will direct the project, which was greenlit last year when Netflix was in talks with the UFC for the rights to its events.
The film was originally conceived as being about Las Vegas as a whole, Page Six reports, before the focus moved to White's rise to power. It is also expected to touch on the launch of Zuffa Boxing and White's relationship with Saudi boxing official Turki Alalshikh.
The documentary reportedly survived Paramount winning the UFC's fight rights in a $7.7 billion deal. Page Six says it is expected to air in the first quarter of 2027. Chopra declined to comment, and neither Netflix nor the UFC has confirmed the report in the coverage.
