Reported, not confirmed

KNOCK OUT returns to Cambodia on Nov. 8 with a chance to build on its first winning series against Kun Khmer fighters. The September 3-vs-3 ended 2-1 for the Japanese side, after a very different start: in April 2025 KNOCK OUT lost all five bouts.

The most interesting name is Hiromu Hisai, who meets Soth Veasna at 67 kg under Kun Khmer rules. Veasna was part of that April 2025 sweep, cutting Masa Sato with a left elbow, dropping him with a high kick and winning by first-round doctor stoppage. Hisai is 21-6-2 per Gong Kakutogi, a former KNOCK OUT-RED champion at super featherweight and lightweight. He also won the IPCC world 60 kg title in Cambodia in February 2025, and he beat Pich Sambath on points there in April 2024. Sambath now faces Hisai's fellow Japanese fighter Kanato Shimoji.

Shimoji, 13-4, has beaten Cambodian opposition before, with a first-round KO in a Kun Khmer team match in November 2024. His recent run has been uneven. He returned from a retinal tear with a KO loss, lost by TKO in November 2025, then won by KO in Okinawa in April 2026 before pulling out of a July fight with a left finger extensor tendon injury. Sambath is nicknamed the Wild Buffalo and won the 2026 World Kun Khmer 8-man tournament.

At 57 kg, 15-year-old Toshi faces Him Kimreang, a popular young Cambodian known for elbows and kicks. Toshi was an amateur with 36 titles before turning pro in July, and he has won both pro fights, the second by TKO.

The kickboxing bouts are Riku Otsu (12-6) against Phanith Kun Khmer at 56.5 kg, and Sentoin No. 1 against Pich Sopheak at 57.5 kg. Otsu has to deal with a man who knocked out Ryuki Kawano in round two when he visited Japan in November 2025, but Otsu arrives off a 56-second KO of Gonsayam in October. Sentoin No. 1 lost by first-round TKO in his latest KNOCK OUT appearance, an unlimited-rules scramble booking.

Watch whether KNOCK OUT can take a winning record in Cambodia itself, where the earlier results went against it. The card streams live on KNOCK OUT's official YouTube channel and can be watched in Japan.
