Goku's win avenges her 2022 kickboxing decision over Sattelmayer in a rematch, this time under MMA rules, and it closed the women's side of the tournament. Pos-Luta reports that Sattelmayer reached the final unbeaten in the tournament, while Goku got there with a decision and a guillotine submission.
The other final is the men's 77 kg bout between Jungle Fight champion Ernane Pimenta, 28, and Fabricio Bakai, 38. Pos-Luta says Bakai entered the tournament as a late replacement and surprised many by reaching the final, while Pimenta was the favorite. No result for that bout has been reported yet.
The event was held at the Ginasio do Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo with free entry. The TV Globo broadcast aired the finals, with Combate and Sportv also showing the card.
