Disputed

  • Goi won the vacant Hexagone MMA title after stopping Sima in round 4; sources give the weight class as both 57 kg and 61 kg. ActuMMA
Goi's win ended the unbeaten run of Samba Sima, who had finished all four of his pro fights before the limit. The fight swung both ways: Sima hurt Goi in round 1 and attempted a submission, and Goi took control on the ground in round 2 and came close to a submission. In round 3 Goi scored a knockdown, then Sima dropped him two minutes from the end of the round; both fighters recovered. In round 4 Goi landed heavy ground and pound and the referee stopped the fight, according to La Sueur.

For Dena, the decision over Labid was a first win on the scorecards after three wins inside the distance. He was coming off the first loss of his career, a first-round KO against Anzor Baybatyrov on June 12 at Hexagone MMA 45 in Lyon, and the win avoids a second straight defeat. Afterward he wrote on Instagram: "It was hard but I got back up." He and Labid then shared a meal.

Labid had built a finishing profile with earlier wins by TKO. Both men entered the Paris card at 3-1.

No next bouts for Goi, Sima, Dena or Labid have been announced.
