G MMA 1: Samhain takes place Oct. 31 in Prague with a 13-bout card on Gecko TV pay-per-view. The main event pits two-division OKTAGON champion Makhmud Muradov against six members of the Kotlar family, with no round or time limit apparent.
The card opened with Roman Marek, who goes by "Kulalo", stopping Karel Horváth, according to Fights.cz. Marek backed Horváth to the fence with the first punches, dropped him with a body shot and a rear-hand bomb, and the referee waved it off after a count when Horváth was slow to rise. Marek said afterward he expected a tougher fight.
The main-event rules remain unclear because outlets report different things. Zamin says all six opponents fight Muradov at once, while iDNES reports they can tag in and out but must face him for at least one minute before switching.
Will Fleury, who lost his OKTAGON light heavyweight title to Muradov in August, wrote on Instagram that G MMA offered him front-row seats and a face-off, and claimed Muradov refused and "tried to get me banned attending." Muradov is booked to face Krzysztof Jotko at OKTAGON 100 in December.
