Eddie Hearn called Dana White's Zuffa Boxing "a laughingstock of the sport" in an interview with DAZN. The Matchroom promoter said the people running it have "not a clue about boxing".
Hearn said White should admit at the end of the year that it has been "an absolute monstrosity, a disaster", but predicted Zuffa will call it "a really good start" instead. He added that he had "loved this year" and that White was making him look like "a mixture of the patron saint of boxing" and James Bond.
After Dalton Smith's win over Alberto Puello in Sheffield, Hearn said he would like to be responsible for Zuffa's decline. Shakur Stevenson has since left Zuffa Boxing and Devin Haney has signed with DAZN.
