DEEP has finished the poster for DAYS Presents DEEP JEWELS 55 and published the full card. The headline bout is a title defense: featherweight champion Yoko Higashi of Reversal Gym Shinjuku ME,WE meets challenger Kitoki of KING GYM KOBE over three five-minute rounds.
Higashi is the one name on the card with a record in our files, and it comes from outside DEEP. She lost to Taylor Guardado by first-round rear-naked choke at Invicta FC 55 on Jun 29, 2024. That is the most recent result we have for her, so how she has fared since is not part of this picture.
Below the title fight, Mori Suda of SCORPION GYM meets Kim So-yul of MOB Training Center at 49 kg, also over three five-minute rounds. The rest of the pro card is shorter. Another 49 kg bout, an atom weight bout and a strawweight bout are each scheduled for two five-minute rounds, and a second 49 kg bout is also on the card. A kickboxing-rules strawweight fight runs three two-minute rounds.
The card then moves to amateur-rules bouts, which run two three-minute rounds. These are strawweight, 49 kg, 50 kg, flyweight and bantamweight contests, so the show is built as much around newcomers as around the champion.
Demand looks strong. VIP and SRS tickets are listed as nearly sold out, and reserved A tickets are gone. Only standing tickets remain without a warning, at 7,000 yen. Doors open at and the first fight starts at .
Watch for any change to the order or opponents, which DEEP has not yet announced, and for Higashi's first title defense on this card.
