Clash has put its new streaming-only series on the same date as a rival's first show. Promoter Tomas Le Sy announced APEX+ at Clash 17 in Usti nad Labem and named the first main event on the spot: Jan Masek against Tadeas "Mawar" Ruzicka, a week later.
APEX+ is meant as a run of smaller shows between the big numbered events, built for the Clash+ platform. Le Sy said a press conference on Clash's YouTube channel will explain where and under what conditions fans can watch the main event and the rest of the card. Whether the show will run without a live audience has not been confirmed.
The date is the sharper story. G MMA stages its first show the same night, Samhain - Hra zacina, at Nova Spirala in Prague. Its headline attraction is Makhmud Muradov facing six Kotlar fighters one after another. G MMA was co-founded by Jakub Jira, a former Clash presenter, and the two promotions pitch to a similar audience. MMA Fanatik Slovakia reads the overlap as a sign of a budding rivalry. Le Sy did not say whether Clash picked the date on purpose, and nobody on either side has said so publicly.
Ruzicka returns after finishing Filip Roubicek in the first round at Clash 16 in Ostrava in June, according to FightBuzz, which puts him at two wins and no losses in the promotion. MMA Fanatik Slovakia adds a unanimous-decision win over Mateusz Janik at PML.
Masek comes through Cage Warriors and two KSW fights. FightBuzz reports he beat David Zoula by majority decision on his KSW debut in October 2025, then lost 30-27 on all three cards to Naci Belhouachi at KSW 117 on April 18. FightBuzz lists him with a 3-3 pro record and training at Pankration Gym in Pribram.
Watch the Monday press conference for the broadcast details, the start time and the rest of the APEX+ card, and for any word on the clash of dates.
