BUZZ Clash APEX+ 1: Ruzicka vs. Masek headlines; Conny faces Sivak Senior

Clash's new streaming-only series opens on the same night as a rival's first show, and its card now carries a grudge match that was once booked elsewhere. David "Conny" Conka will face Vaclav Sivak Senior on APEX+ 1 after their Celebrity Combat bout fell through.

The two disagreed over rules: Conka wanted MMA, Sivak Senior preferred K-1. Clash says the fight stays K-1 in small MMA gloves, so the dispute is settled in Sivak Senior's favour. The cancellation itself is still contested. According to FightBuzz, Conka pulled out and cited unmet financial arrangements around travel costs and an advance. The organizer rejected that, saying it paid the real travel costs and that the signed contract had no advance.

The main event is Tadeas "Mawar" Ruzicka against Jan Masek, also under K-1 rules. Ruzicka returns after finishing Filip Roubicek in round one at Clash 16 in June, according to FightBuzz, which has him at two wins from two fights in the promotion. Masek, who has fought in Cage Warriors and KSW, is listed at 3-3 as a pro. According to Fights.cz, the two have met before, in a 2021 WAKO K-1 bout that Masek lost over three rounds.

Ruzicka is openly chasing Sivak and called Masek one stop on the way. On a B4THEAPEX show, with Sivak on the phone, he named Nov. 22, according to Clash Rankings. Nov. 22, 2027 is a Monday, which is unusual for a big card, and Clash has announced no contract, venue or card for it. Sivak is booked to fight Patrik Zadera at RFA 35 on Nov. 27, 2026, so no meeting with Ruzicka is close. A Ruzicka loss would damage the plan. Ruzicka also told the Willy Cao channel why he chose Clash over a reported Oktagon offer: co-owner Tyberiusz Labudek paid him a sum when his last fight was cancelled before he went to prison, and he praised Tomas Le Sy for keeping his word.

The date is the other story. G MMA stages its first show, Samhain - Hra zacina, at Nova Spirala in Prague, with Makhmud Muradov facing six Kotlar fighters one after another. G MMA was co-founded by Jakub Jira, a former Clash presenter, and the two promotions pitch to a similar audience. Neither side has said the clash of dates was deliberate.

Beyond the top bouts, the card starts the Gym Brawls Cup, with Kravec Gym facing PriMMAt Gym and Spejbl Gym facing OFA Gym in the quarter-finals. Watch for the start time, which listings had not confirmed, and for any comment from either promotion on the overlap.
