RESULTS Clash 17: Fenin beats Kocián, who retires; Pali Hari breaks leg, Žralok wins

Clash 17 in Ústí nad Labem ended with a retirement in the main event and a serious injury in the main prelim, and the injury is the one that will change the next card.

In the 84 kg main event, Martin Fenin, a former footballer making his cage debut, beat Martin Kocián, a singer with four earlier Clash starts. Fenin hit a body kick in round one and kept up the pressure. Kocián went down in round two and gave up, then told promoter Tomáš Le Sy in the cage that he would not fight again. He said he is no longer young and his strength is going. FightBuzz and MMAmag.cz both put the finish in round two, and the unofficial ClashRankings database lists it as a KO/TKO at 0:24.

Le Sy was less forgiving afterward. He told the Willy Cao channel that Kocián "may have quit earlier than he should have," according to Fights.cz, which also noted some fans criticized the way he went out. Days before the fight, Fenin had called a proposed three-month treatment stay a 'service'. Kocián never agreed to the bet that surrounded the fight, so nothing was at stake beyond the result.

The worst moment came in the street fight between Pali Hari and Patrik Hübler, known as Žralok. Pali Hari broke a leg in round one while throwing a low kick and was carried out on a stretcher. Žralok was awarded a TKO. No update on his condition has been given, and Le Sy confirmed on the live stream that Pali Hari's announced trilogy with Mikulášek at Clash 18 is cancelled.

Elsewhere, Dominik Radl became the first holder of a Clash mini belt when Lukáš Přidal's corner stopped their fight between rounds two and three. Karlos Benda beat the first three of five challengers, lost to the fourth and fifth, and was declared winner 3-2. Marek Valášek won twice in a bout assembled a day before the show, after Jaroslav Kotlár and Natan Marcoń withdrew, and apologized for not finishing Král Pablo.

Next is Clash 18 on Feb. 6, 2027. René Blahovský, the light heavyweight champion who stopped Patrik Jevický in 51 seconds, is listed to meet Filip Grznár for the title, according to Clash Rankings. Watch for Pali Hari's recovery news and for who replaces him on the card.
