Charlotte Padie to make pro MMA debut vs Allycia Hellen Rodrigues at Inner Circle 39

Charlotte Padie's first professional fight comes against a reigning world champion. Allycia Hellen Rodrigues holds the ONE Women's Atomweight Muay Thai World Championship, and ONE's own announcement describes the bout as her MMA debut as well. Both women will be learning the rules of the cage together, and Padie will need to show her striking pedigree carries over.

Padie comes from Bruay-La-Buissière, a former mining town in northern France. She trained at A.S.A. Kick-Boxing de Bruay-La-Buissière under coach Marian Krzymanski. In November 2018, still a student, she won the under-56kg Junior World Kickboxing Championships title in Rome by knockout. She has spoken of turning professional ever since.

She is also a French national champion in two disciplines, kickboxing and Burmese boxing, the latter a rare credential outside Myanmar. Burmese boxing adds headbutts and bare-knuckle strikes to the kickboxing toolkit.

Her MMA path is recent. She moved into the sport in early 2026, competing on the French amateur circuit to build the grappling and transitional skills a striking background lacks. That run brought both wins and losses before she turned professional.

The stakes go beyond one result. Padie has made clear she intends to win a ONE world title for France. Alexis Nicolas became the first French fighter to win ONE gold when he took the lightweight kickboxing world championship in 2024, but that belt has since changed hands.
