FIGHT ANNOUNCED BKB Dover: Lundy faces Santos; Sparks meets Carmack, McMillan-Brown co-main

BKB's first Delaware show now has a full shape: a boxing name in Hank Lundy headlining, a co-main at welterweight, and a super heavyweight bout between two fighters who have never needed the judges in bare-knuckle.

Lundy, a Philadelphia boxer, meets Jairo Santos over five rounds at welterweight. Lundy signed with BKB in July and his boxing record is listed at 32-14-1. It includes a 2016 challenge against Terence Crawford for the WBO super-lightweight title. Santos is a 29-year-old South Carolina fighter with two knockout wins in two gloved boxing appearances, previous MMA experience and a 2024 second-round amateur bare-knuckle stoppage of CJ Dean. He has downplayed Lundy's reputation: "Hank Lundy has a big name in boxing, but that won't mean anything once we step inside the Trigon."

The undercard has changed since the October 15 announcement. Jesse Sparks, whose two bare-knuckle wins took a combined 53 seconds, now faces Richard Carmack. The Dover poster had named the opponent as Chris Carmack, and Sherdog cites a BKB press release naming Richard Carmack. Carmack is 2-1 in bare-knuckle: a first-round knockout of Troy Depriest, a third-round technical knockout of Travis Fulton, then a first-round knockout loss to Juan Arciniega-Adams, according to LowKick MMA.

Kylle McMillan, listed at 3-1, takes on James Brown, listed at 5-1, as the welterweight co-main event. Albert El Zaibak faces Triston Harrison at super featherweight, and Branden Smith meets Braxton Smith at heavyweight. The Jade Masson-Wong vs. Monica Franco bout has been removed from the lineup.

The debut label doesn't mean a four-round cap. BKB's rules separate complete professional newcomers from fighters with professional boxing, MMA or other combat experience, and experienced crossover fighters can contest the number of rounds the regulator approves. Fights take place in the three-sided Trigon, and ForceIQ sensors will show punch speed and impact to viewers without affecting scoring.

Watch how Lundy's boxing experience carries over against an opponent who has already fought bare-knuckle at amateur level, and whether Sparks' finishing pace survives a opponent who has been stopped and has stopped others.
