Amado Vargas lost a fight week in Biloxi and has found his next date quickly. He now returns to the venue where his bare knuckle career began, facing Callum Nulty at BKB 61 in London on Nov. 14.
The Biloxi booking fell apart in the days before the event. His opponent withdrew midway through fight week, and no replacement could be found. According to LowKick MMA, that opponent was Anel Dudo, who pulled out with an injury, and BKB announced the cancellation on Oct. 21.
Vargas is a boxing prospect who moved to the BKB Trigon this year and made an immediate impression. At BKB 57 in July he was kicked through the ropes by James Springer, climbed back in, taunted him and finished the fight with a right hand in the first round. His brother Fernando Vargas Jr. also won his debut on that card, stopping Gary Allen in round two. LowKick MMA lists Amado at 13-0 as a professional boxer.
Nulty is the more experienced fighter across rulesets, though not in this one. He is a former lightweight Hybrid Champion with boxing and MMA experience, and he lost his BKB debut to Ash Williams in round one in Cardiff in April 2025. He is still looking for his first win under BKB rules, and both men's previous BKB appearances ended in first-round knockouts.
The card is led by Lee Selby against Ollie Sentance, and Marko Martinjak meets Matty Askin for the bridgerweight title. Vargas's second bare knuckle outing will show whether his debut finish was a one-off or the start of a real run in the sport.
