Miška has withdrawn from her 55 kg fight with Sandy at FNC 12 on Dec. 12 in Bratislava for personal reasons; the promotion is seeking a replacement so Sandy can debut.
From 2 reports
What we know
- Miška told the organization she will not compete at FNC 12 for personal reasons; the promotion said she will explain the circumstances herself on social media.
- The Miška vs. Sandy 55 kg bout is off the card.
- The promotion says it will look for a replacement opponent so Sandy does not lose her debut; no replacement has been named.
- FNC 12 is scheduled for Dec. 12 at TIPOS Arena in Bratislava, with FlexKing vs. Tresor as the main draw.
Fight Night Challenge 12 has lost one of its more heated bouts, and a fighter who was due to debut on the card is now without an opponent. Sandy was set to face Miška at 55 kg until Miška told the organization she would not compete.
The promotion has given no reason beyond "personal reasons." In its Instagram announcement it said Miška will explain the circumstances herself on her own social media, so the full story of her exit has yet to be told.
The bigger question is Sandy's debut. The promotion said the news is fresh and that it will look for an adequate replacement so she does not miss her first fight on the card. No name has been announced, and nothing is confirmed about a new bout.
The rest of the event is unaffected. FlexKing vs. Tresor is billed as the main draw under open-weight rules, and Václav "Baba Jaga" Mikulášek meets Vašek Sivák at 95 kg. Erik Tlkanec faces Sebastián Fapšo at 88 kg. The card also includes a tag-style bout in which Murcin and Kotalík meet Mošpan and Cverna.
Watch for two things: a statement from Miška on her own channels, and the promotion naming Sandy's new opponent. With the event set for Dec. 12 at TIPOS Arena, that announcement should come in the coming weeks.
