BKFC's first trip to Hershey brings a main event with no belt on the line. Welterweight champion Dustin Pague, 39, steps up to middleweight to face Mike Richman, 41, so the title stays out of play even though the 165-pound champion is headlining.
Pague is 6-2 according to FIGHTMAG and won the welterweight title with a unanimous decision over Julian Lane at BKFC 86 in January. Richman, a former two-time light heavyweight champion, is 8-4 and comes off a unanimous decision loss to John Garbarino at BKFC Liberty Brawl in July. Both are Pennsylvania and Minnesota natives fighting in a bout where size, not a title, is the question.
The bigger draw for many fans is Sam Alvey. The 40-year-old former UFC middleweight spent the past three years in Karate Combat, where he held the heavyweight title and later the light heavyweight title. He knocked out Tyrone Spong in 2025, lost the heavyweight belt to Robelis Despaigne by head kick in December 2025, and then beat Uriah Hall by unanimous decision at Karate Combat 62 in July.
His opponent, Johnathan "Big Baby" Miller, has BKFC experience that Alvey lacks. Miller is 2-2 under BKFC rules, but MMA Mania reports he is on a six-fight losing streak across bare-knuckle, MMA and Karate Combat, most recently knocked out in about a minute by Chris Barnett. BKFC's rules strip out kicks, knees, elbows and grappling, which removes much of what Alvey used in his previous sports.
Alvey reportedly signed a multi-fight deal that is exclusive for bare-knuckle boxing but lets him keep fighting in Karate Combat, where he is already planning a return as early as January 2027, according to MMA Mania.
The rest of the card is Matthew Semelsberger vs. Michael Manno, Patrick Carroll vs. Nelson Best, Elijah Harris vs. Stevo Morris, Jay Haas vs. Eduardo Peralta and Colin Reeser vs. Fabricio Berrun. More bouts should be added once the card is finalized, and tickets go on sale Oct. 30 at noon.
