RAF 14: Tsarukyan beats Danis for crossover title; Chimaev faces Covington Nov. 14

The main event capped a feud that boiled over at the pre-event press conference, where a brawl broke out after Danis showed a shirt mocking Tsarukyan's teammate Chimaev. A security guard was left bleeding in that melee, according to Knockout Daily. On the mat Tsarukyan drew a referee warning for an apparent slap early, then took over with takedowns and step-outs. After the stoppage he stepped on Danis as he got up. Security moved in quickly, Danis did not retaliate and later shook his hand. Tsarukyan still does not consider the rivalry settled.

The incidents did not end there. Video posted by Red Corner MMA and picked up by Sherdog appears to show a spectator kicking Danis as he left the mats, and RAF has not commented. Chuck Liddell told TMZ Sports that someone should be punished or RAF needs better control. Knockout Daily found no sanction announced by RAF or anyone else. White then said at the UFC 333 press conference that after the last incident, "we don't need that aggravation here."

The night also set up RAF's next show. After beating Lawler, Chimaev said he was happy to finally get Covington and vowed to break his neck. Tsarukyan, now 8-1 in RAF, said he wants big names: "I wanna collect all the big names, all the best fighters." He suggested RAF might bring in Georges St-Pierre, though no match with St-Pierre is booked.

MMA Fighting reported RAF is targeting an Armenia event in early 2027, with the promotion saying it will happen if Tsarukyan can close it.
