Arman Tsarukyan turned one of RAF's most heated builds into a shutout at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas. A day after their press conference ended in a brawl, he stepped on Dillon Danis as Danis got up from the mat. This time security flooded the mats at once, Danis did not retaliate, and the two shook hands, though Tsarukyan told Chael Sonnen the feud only ends if they fight in the cage.
The belt goes straight back on the line in Abu Dhabi, according to FightTime.ru. At the post-event press conference Tsarukyan said Jordan Burroughs no longer interests him after his upset loss, Burroughs' first in RAF according to MMA Fighting, and named Georges St-Pierre as the big name he wants if RAF can sign him. "I want to collect all big names, all the best fighters," he said, per Combat Sports UK. He still hopes his next UFC fight is against lightweight champion Justin Gaethje.
Khamzat Chimaev, who lost the UFC middleweight title to Sean Strickland in May, made short work of former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler before turning to Colby Covington, whom he meets in the same Abu Dhabi show. FightTime.ru scored his win 11-0, while ActuMMA had it 10-0.
