ONE Championship has added Adlan Umarov to its featherweight MMA roster, bringing in a Kazakh prospect who has never needed the judges as a professional.

ONE frames him as a wrestler first: he takes opponents down, holds them under heavy top pressure and ground-and-pound, then hunts for the submission when they scramble. He has also shown power on the feet on the regional circuit, and the promotion calls his length imposing for the weight class.

The promotion places him in a new generation of Kazakh fighters following former ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Kairat Akhmetov. He arrives in a division ruled by champion Tang Kai, and ONE says news of his promotional debut will follow.
