Dalton Smith makes the first defense of his WBC super lightweight title against Alberto Puello tonight in front of a home crowd in Sheffield. The fight was first scheduled for the summer, but an injury pushed it back, according to Bad Left Hook.

The matchup has a direct line through the title's recent history. Puello lost the belt to Subriel Matias on a controversial majority decision in July 2025, and Smith then took it from Matias by stoppage in January. A win would give Puello the title back; a win for Smith would cement his reign at home.

The undercard features Giorgio Visioli vs. Maxi Hughes at lightweight, Leo Atang vs. Jonathan Vergara at heavyweight, Ed Hardy vs. Ibrahim Nadim at super featherweight, and a rematch between Emma Dolan and Shannon Ryan. Bad Left Hook's live coverage begins Sat, Oct 24, 2 p.m. ET (18:00 UTC).
